  • Mbis: an efficient method fod mining frequent weighted utility itemsets from quantitative databases/ Nguyen Duy Ham, Vo Dinh Bay, Nguyen Thi Hong Minh, Tzung- Pei Hong.- Tr. 17-30.

Abstract: In recent years, methods for mining quantitative databases have been proposed. However, the processing time is fairly much, which affects the productivity of intelligent systems that use quantitative databases. This study proposes the multibit segment structure to store and process tidsets to increase the efficiency of mining frauent weighted utility itemsetsfrom quantitative databases. With this structure, the calcutation of the intersection of tidsets between two itemsets becomes more convenient. Based on the structure, the authrs define the MBiS-Tree structure and propose an algorithm for mining FWUIs from quantitative databases. Experimental reslts fos a number of databases show that the proposed method outperforms existing methods.

  • Do-Tpr*-Tree: Adensity optimal method fod Tpr*-Tree/ Nguyen Tien Phuong, Dang Van Duc.- Tr. 43-53.

Abstract: This paper proposes a density optimal method, named as DO-TPR*-tree, which improves the performance of original TPR*-tree significantly. In this proposed, based on density optimal for the area of its MBR, is satisfied at a query time. So, all queries occurred after that time will be prevented from being misled as to an empty space of this node. The definition of Node Density Optimal is also introduced to be used in search algorithm. The algorithm of this method is proven to be out. In the environment with less update rates or high query rates, the method can highly enhance query performance and runs the same as the TPR*-tree in other cases.

  • A comparison study of some control methods for delta spatial parallel robot/ Nguyen Van Khang, Nguyen Quang Hoang, Nguyen Duc Sang, Nguyen Dinh Dung.- Tr. 71-81.

Abstract: A compassion between three methods applied to parallet robot control namely: computed torque controller, sliding mode control and sliding mode control using neural networks is presented in this paper. The simulation results show that PD control method is only accurte when model parameters are precisely identified. In case of uncertain parameters , sliding mode and neural network for simulation. The results show that the control quality is improved by using the neural network sliding mode control methd in comparison with two others.
